So in the 10th PPL Season, the tenth La Coupe de la PPL comes to an end in appropriately epic fashion. I do not have the stats to hand, but 33 points I should imagine is enough to win most of the previous seasons. Not this one.
A HUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE congratulations to FLOYD ROAD– who win the 10th ever La Coupe de la PPL Final, and a £100 prize! Commiserations to runners up Macebooks Barmy Army, who earn a consolation prize of £25 for such a magnificent cup run. Always a shame to fall at the final hurdle but Sarah (Yes folks – a woman!!) you should hold your head high and aim for that one step further next season!
Floyd Road – managed by Paul Muttett – scored a total of 41 points, beating the 33 of Sarah by just the 8 points. Probably the highest scoring Cup Final we have ever had.
And a family double!! Craig Muttett won the competition last year, so the “trophy” only has a short journey from one brother to the next.
Let us all rise and applaud Paul on a job very very well done, and a stunning PPL season!

Who will they face? Well that all depends who sits top of the PPL once the button has been clicked on The Mixer. It would take a small miracle for Chegwins Chuggers to be caught, but just look at what happened in Manchester on Sunday and tell me miracles dont happen.
We will find out exactly what The Mixer does to the Top of the PPL very soon. The Top Five also of course win prizes so best of luck to everyone involved.
I will be back with more...

Who could have possibly predicted a Premier League climax that amazing? The drama was completely unrivalled, the results astonishing, Joey Barton moved from complete moronity into pure hatred, and we had a brand new team name on the Premier League trophy. Wow. And on the flip side – typing this has rammed home the fact that our season is now over. Bring on the Euros!
But first – who won the final weekly game of the PPL season? Given that last week – whilst in a strangely good mood - I announced that the winner of PPL 10:39 would receive FREE entry into next seasons competition, were the PPL gods satisfied with just one winner? Were they hell. So TWO people will get free entry into next season, which is just smashing… #Sarcasm!
The two winners, adding £10 each to their kitties and as above, paying zilch to enter next year, are SCUDERIA BAZZAand CHEERY Os !!A great big congratulations to respective managers Barry Hobart and Colin Douglas, who bow out of the season with a fabulous score of 50 pointseach. Well done to both.
A runner up by a nose were Bunnys Bakerswith 49, whilst Queens Park Dangerousmade 48.
Borussia MoenchenEdenbridgeand Slick Gunnerstied for fifth place, scoring 46-a-piece.
It was a great way for most people to bow out of the season, with a very high average and pats on the back all round. “Tally ho old boy!” said Dave to the masses.
But the pat on the back turned into an aggressive shove on one of you – the recipient of the final Suckers Score this season! It was Heartache Thistlethat took the honours, scoring 12 points, one of the highest Suckers Scores one will see. But nevertheless – worst of the bunch and the finger of scorn is pointed firmly at you, Ian Aitkenhead!
Dave.
